Literally translated, Ayurveda means science of life. Ayurveda uses nutrition, herbs, lifestyle changes, stress reduction techniques as some of its many healing modalities. Ayurveda focuses on the root cause of disease rather than the symptoms alone, the symptoms being signs from the body that something is out of balance. By gaining awareness about even the smallest symptoms and making simple adjustments, we can create big changes in our lives.
